What to Expect

What You Can Expect During Your Visit

Please arrive for your appointment at least 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.

If you have dental insurance, please bring your insurance card with you.

Imaging

When you visit our office, we will first take radiographs (x-rays) and 3D images of your teeth. During the 3D scan, the machine rotates around your head. These images greatly enhance the doctor's ability to diagnose, evaluate, and treat your tooth.

Treatment Planning

After imaging is complete, the doctor will examine your teeth and discuss her diagnosis and treatment plan with you. The treatment plan is based on your medical history, the radiographs and 3D images, and the examination. This is a great opportunity to ask any questions that you may have.

Treatment

The root canal will typically take about 60-90 minutes. Some root canals can be completed in one visit, other cases require a follow-up visit.

Post-Treatment

Many patients report immediate relief after the procedure. However, you may experience soreness for several days after treatment. If you have any concerns following treatment, please do not hesitate to contact us.
